High‐Throughput Exfoliation of Optoelectronic‐Grade MoS2 via Turbulent‐Flow Wet Jet Milling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable wet jet milling exfoliation method is demonstrated for producing optoelectronic‐grade MoS2 nanosheets using environmentally friendly ethyl cellulose in ethanol dispersion media. Guided by fluid dynamics modeling, this approach is optimized to achieve record‐high exfoliation throughput and concentration.

Patterns of spatial variability for demersal fish communities on the shelf of the northwestern Bering Sea

open access: yesИзвестия ТИНРО, 2014
Six communities of demersal fishes and cyclostomes are identified on the shelf of the northwestern Bering Sea and their structure is described on the data of complex bottom trawl surveys conducted in 2004 and 2005.

Protective wrapping of off-the-shelf components [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
System designers using off-the-shelf components (OTSCs), whose internals they cannot change, often use add-on “wrappers” to adapt the OTSCs’ behaviour as required.

Decellularized Extracellular Matrix (dECM) in Tendon Regeneration: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Decellularized Extracellular Matrix (dECM) offers a promising solution by replicating the native tendon microenvironment and promoting regeneration. This review highlights advances in the decellularization methods, as well as their integration with emerging technologies and translational progress in tendon tissue engineering.

SiO2‐CaOCME/Poly(Tetrahydrofuran)/Poly(Caprolactone) 3D‐Printed Scaffolds Drive Human‐Bone Marrow Stromal Cell Osteogenic Differentiation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
3D printed hybrid scaffolds combining bioactive silica–calcium chemistry with elastic polymers guide human bone stem cells to form bone. The scaffolds support cell survival, organization, and invasion while releasing osteogenic ions. Together, architecture and composition drive bone‐specific gene expression, extracellular matrix organization, and ...

The effect of the 1997-1998 ENSO on the benthic macrofaunal biomass in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico [PDF]

open access: yesGeofísica Internacional, 2003
Long term macrofaunal biomass measurements made since 1987 were used to evaluate the effect of episodic inputs of biogenic carbon during ENSO on the shelf and slope benthos in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico.

The sedimentary legacy of a palaeo-ice stream on the shelf of the southern Bellingshausen Sea: Clues to West Antarctic glacial history during the Late Quaternary [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A major trough ("Belgica Trough") eroded by a palaeo-ice stream crosses the continental shelf of the southern Bellingshausen Sea (West Antarctica) and is associated with a trough mouth fan ("Belgica TMF") on the adjacent continental slope.
