The Snail Shells as Efficient Fillers for Engineering Materials
The increasing environmental impact of non-biodegradable, fossil-based materials has driven engineers and industries to seek sustainable alternatives. Composite materials, widely used in mechanical, biomedical, and materials engineering, offer durability and recyclability but rely heavily on polymers derived from fossil fuels.

Our coaxial electrospinning system is capable of incorporating decellularized myocardial extracellular matrix in a core‐sheath configuration, creating nanofibrous scaffolds. These scaffolds, in turn, support the maintenance of functional cardiomyocytes adhered to the surface of these bioactive scaffolds.
