3D Lattice Engineering of Nanoparticles by DNA Shells

Small, 2019
AbstractWith the development of structural DNA nanotechnology, DNA has now far exceeded its original function: as a genetic code. It can, in principle, self‐assemble into desired shapes with accurate size. Moreover, it can perform as a functional linker to program other materials by grafting DNA onto these materials.

Test engines for the asset administration shell

at - Automatisierungstechnik
Abstract The Asset Administration Shell (AAS) is a standard for Digital Twins, a key element of Industry 4.0. In order to realize interoperability as its central prerequisite, manufacturers must implement the formal AAS metamodel specification correctly down to the last detail.

Atomic Engineering of Mixed Ferrite and Core–Shell Nanoparticles

Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2005
Nanoparticulate ferrites such as manganese zinc ferrite and nickel zinc ferrite hold great promise for advanced applications in power electronics. The use of these materials in current applications requires fine control over the nanoparticle size as well as size distribution to maximize their packing density.

A Contribution to a Linearized Engineering Shell Theory

1971
Earlier work has shown the possibility of formulating a consistent simple linear shell theory in terms of invariant displacement and stress functions. A similar approach is used in the proposed linearized equations which may be considered as an improvement of the Marguerre-Vlasov “shallow shell” equations.

Development of an expert system shell for engineering design

2018
Abstract: "This report describes the development of an expert system shell for the preliminary phase (synthesis) of engineering design. It is during this part of the design process that the creativity and experience of an engineer are mostly needed. The increasing complexity of engineering design problems has made synthesis a very difficult process ...
