Noise reduction method of ship radiated noise with ensemble empirical mode decomposition of adaptive noise

Noise Control Engineering Journal, 2016
Ensemble empirical mode decomposition method (EEMD) is important improvement of the empirical mode decomposition (EMD), but it still leaves some annoying difficulties unresolved, such as large computational cost and reconstruction error. To solve above problems of the EEMD, a new method named EEMD of adaptive noise (EEMDAN) is proposed, which can ...

Reconstruction and Evaluation of Ship Radiated Noise Signal in Ocean Channel

2020 4th Annual International Conference on Data Science and Business Analytics (ICDSBA), 2020
Ship radiated noise can generally be regarded as a random process that undergoes steady states, but the complexity of its generation mechanism makes its spectral characteristics different from white noise signals. Realistic simulation of the time domain signal of ship radiated noise can improve performance of acoustic equipment.

Modulation spectrum simulation according to measured ship radiated noise

2016 IEEE 13th International Conference on Signal Processing (ICSP), 2016
Modulation spectrum simulation is important for the simulation of ship radiated noise, because the modulation spectrum contains abundant characteristics of ship target. To satisfy various research requirements for the simulation of ship radiated noise's modulation spectrum, reconstruction method is utilized based on measured ship radiated noise.

Signatures Extraction of Ship Radiated Noise Based on Passive Sonar

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014
By combining likelihood estimation method and Kalman filtering tracking approach, feature extraction algorithm was developed in this paper to extract the harmonic feature from the underwater noise radiated by different kinds of ships. The ability of harmonic features extrication algorithm is demonstrated by simulation and real shallow water data set ...

Design of Ship Radiated Noise Signal Generator Based on FPGA

2019 IEEE International Conference on Signal, Information and Data Processing (ICSIDP), 2019
The rapid development of FPGA provides a new platform for target signal simulation. Firstly, the components of ship radiated noise are analyzed in the paper. Then a module of ship radiated noise signal generator based on FPGA is designed, generating 20Hz-10kHz frequency band noise to simulate ship radiated noise.

Neural Network Approach for Automatic Classification of Ship-Radiated Noise

Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 2006
Tonal signals from ship-radiated noise contain important information for a ship's design, maintenance, operating condition diagnosis, and machinery monitoring. The signals mainly consist of two components–the speed-dependent component and the speed-independent component.
