Cage‐Type Porous Organic Salts as Ship‐in‐a‐Bottle Nanoreactors for Light‐Transparent and Reusable Molecular Photocatalysts

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Light‐transparent, cage‐type porous organic salts (POSs) function as nanoreactors that heterogenize molecularly defined photocatalysts through size exclusion. Photocatalysts are encapsulated intact during crystallization, providing confined yet accessible reaction fields under visible light without catalyst modification.

Astrocytic FDX1 Contributes to Copper Dyshomeostasis‐associated Synaptic Dysfunction in Depression and Is Modulated by Exercise

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chronic stress disrupts copper homeostasis and promotes copper accumulation in the prelimbic cortex, leading to astrocytic FDX1 upregulation. Elevated astrocytic FDX1 impairs calcium signaling, induces structural atrophy, and disrupts synaptic function, contributing to depressive‐like behaviors. Physical exercise reverses these alterations by restoring

Energy efficiency of a passenger ship in Turkey

open access: yesScientific Bulletin of Naval Academy, 2020
The International Maritime Organization (IMO) introduced a new measure in 2011 with a set of technical innovation and performance standards to increase the energy efficiency of new ships at the design stage and aim to reduce CO2 emissions. This new measure is called Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) and this became a fast key instrument for the ...

Evaluation of Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) on Container Ship in Indonesian Shipping

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, 2023
Abstract CO2 has been one of the biggest contributors of Green House Effect, crippling the ozone of our own earth over the years. Ships, as the biggest transportation mode in the world, estimated to produce 1,046 millioin tonnes of CO2 approximately 3,3% from the total of CO2 emission across the globe. International Maritime Organization,

Complex Iridium Oxides Converge In Structure And Reactivity During Acidic Oxygen Evolution Electrocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Ir‐based double perovskites restructure during acidic oxygen evolution electrocatalysis through dissolution of non‐Ir cations and convergence toward IrOx active‐site motifs with similar structure and intrinsic activity across compositions. The identity of the dissolving cations controls dissolution and surface reconstruction kinetics, clarifying how ...
