Friction-induced vibration characteristics of water-lubricated rubber bearing
[Objectives] The stern tube rubber bearing is an important part of marine propulsion systems. However, under unfavorable low-speed, heavy duty and partial high-temperature working conditions, bad lubrication can occur and cause friction-induced vibration.

Analysis of noise from anchored ship and extent of noise to ships vicinity
Noise from a ship at anchor sometimes poses problems to humans in the vicinity. The sound from the exhaust of the main generator is the main cause for the noise. This can be managed by installing an active silencer to the main generator. All the noise sources from the ship were analyzed after installing the silencer.

PEDOT:PSS—A Key Material for Bioelectronics
PEDOT:PSS ‐ Poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate ‐ is typically processed from water dispersions to form multifunctional and multidimensional constructs with tunable electronic and ionic conductivity. Throught processing engineering, PEDOT:PSS is intergrated in bioelectronic devices that operate efficiently in physiological conditions

Design and Experiment of Magnetic Antenna Vibration and Noise Reduction System
The magnetic antenna can receive extremely weak underwater magnetic signals, and induce the magnetic field intensity which can reach the femto-tesla (fT) level, making it widely used in underwater electromagnetic signal detection.

A general fabricating strategy for arbitrary 3D organic mixed ionic‐electronic conductor architectures is reported using PEDOT:PSS microfiber building blocks. A water‐assisted self‐fusion process is successfully developed in which adhesion can be modulated as reversible (PSS‐rich) or irreversible (PEDOT‐rich) self‐fusion depending on the post‐treatment

A shipping noise prediction tool [PDF]
Underwater noise is a form of pollution causing significant concern in terms of environmental status. Shipping is considered the main contributor to the total noise at the global scale, since ship radiated noise can propagate up to tens or hundreds of kilometers.
