A silicon nitride ion sensitive field effect transistor‐based immunosensor for determination of urinary albumin

open access: yesElectrochemical Science Advances, Volume 2, Issue 6, December 2022., 2022
Abstract The development of an immunosensor‐based biosensor to detect the human serum albumin (HSA) was developed as a low‐cost and label‐free electrical detection through silicon nitride ion‐sensitive field‐effect transistor (Si3N4‐ISFET). This sensor was functionalized using 3‐Aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES).

Targeting Tumor‐Associated Carbonic Anhydrases in Photothermal Therapy

open access: yesChemMedChem, EarlyView.
Tumor‐associated carbonic anhydrases hCA IX and hCA XII, are overexpressed in hypoxic tumor regions and promote cancer cell survival. Targeting these enzymes enhances the efficacy of photothermal therapy (PTT), which uses NIR light for localized heat and apoptosis, representing a promising approach for cancer treatment.

Examining the Financial Impact of Biodiversity‐Related Reputational Disasters

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This research investigates the reaction of financial markets to biodiversity‐related corporate events, utilising an EGARCH model to assess the implications on stock returns and volatility. Results reveal that markets significantly respond to these events, demonstrating heightened sensitivity and volatility that underscore the financial ...
