Advanced Science, EarlyView.A novel “Cu‐mediated interstitial site engineering” strategy is introduced to thermodynamically stabilize hexagonal oxygen (hex‐O) configurations in oxygen‐containing titanium alloys. A Soft, Flexible Implant for Wireless Photothermal–Pyroelectric Neurostimulation
Advanced Science, EarlyView.A replication strategy is used to enlarge the exposed surface area of barium titanate within flexible films with embedded carbon nanotubes, enabling efficient photothermal‐pyroelectric stimulation. Polar crystalline nanosheets show superior performance in guiding neural progenitor cells toward neuronal differentiation.

Smart Optogenetics for Real‐Time Automated Control of Cardiac Electrical Activity
Advanced Science, EarlyView.We are able to stop dangerous heart‐rhythm spirals before they fully form. Within about 100 ms, it pinpoints the spiral's tiny central tip (≈0.9 mm) using light‐based sensing and machine learning, then shines targeted light to shut it down. This fast, precise, closed‐loop approach detects, targets, and terminates arrhythmias in real time.
