An inverse shock response spectrum
Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, 2011Abstract The shock response spectrum (SRS) is a tool commonly used by application engineers that characterizes the severity of a transient acceleration. Due to the definition of the SRS, neither an analytical nor a unique inverse exists for an arbitrary function.

Shock response spectrum in plates under impulse loads
Abstract In this paper, the study of a plate under impulse loads and the correlated Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) has been carried out. The Reissner–Mindlin plate have been considered and the modal analysis technique used to develop the solution. The influence of the impulse (rise function, rise time) and geometric parameters (thickness of the plate,

This article deals with the comparison of Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) and Pseudo Velocity Shock Spectrum (PVSS). Publicly available data as well as values from an implemented experiment are used. The experiment consisted of acquisition of accelerations when a model car hit various braking pads.

Calculation of a shock response spectrum
2011 12th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC), 2011As it is stated in the ISO 18431–4 Standard, a Shock Response Spectrum is defined as the response to a given acceleration acting at a set of mass-damper-spring oscillators, which are adjusted to the different resonance frequencies while their resonance gains (Q-factor) are equal to the same value.
