SciAgents: Automating Scientific Discovery Through Bioinspired Multi‐Agent Intelligent Graph Reasoning

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The SciAgents AI model drives hypothesis generation by harnessing multi‐agent graph reasoning, extracting insights from knowledge graphs constructed from scientific papers. Each agent plays a specific role: the Ontologist defines concepts, the Scientists draft and refine proposals, and the Critic reviews.

Bright Shooting-Star [PDF]

open access: yesNature, 1873
A SHOOTING-STAR, equal in apparent brightness to the planet Jupiter, was seen hereby me this evening at 9h 18m. It traversed a path of 24° in two seconds, beginning at R.A. 242°, D + 47°, and ending at R.A. 278°, D + 50°. No perceptible train remained after the disappearance of the nucleus, which, however, emitted numerous sparks when in motion.

Adsorption and Separation by Flexible MOFs

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Flexible metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) present significant potential for gas storage and separation due to their structural dynamic. This review explores the rationale behind the flexible MOFs' enhanced working capacity and separation factors. It also addresses key challenges, including phase transition kinetics, crystal robustness, cycling, shaping,

Gravity Balanced Arm Exoskeleton for Basketball Shooting Training [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
This paper proposes a gravity balanced arm exoskeleton design for basketball shooting training. The potential energy equation of the mechanism is derived. A simulation of the arm going through the basketball shooting motion is done on the mechanism. Throughout the motion the total potential energy is constant.

Moisture‐Dependent Vibrational Dynamics and Phonon Transport in Nanocellulose Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Uptake of water in cellulose play an important role in modulating the structure and phonon transport. This study reports how moisture‐dependent structural modification relates to the vibrational dynamics and phonon transport and scattering of nanocellulose using inelastic neutron scattering and wide angle X‐ray scattering.

High‐Performance Recyclable Polyester Elastomers Through Transient Strain‐Stiffening

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transient strain‐crystallization simultaneously strengthens and toughens block polyester elastomers while conserving recyclability. Using controlled polymerization catalysis and commercial monomers, block polyester elastomers outperform current commercial elastomers, entering a new region of tensile mechanical property space.
