Broadband, Flexible, Skin‐Compatible Carbon Dots/Graphene Photodetectors for Wearable Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Broadband, flexible photodetectors integrating nitrogen‐rich carbon dots with single‐layer graphene on plastic substrates are demonstrated. A biocompatible chitosan–glycerol electrolyte enables efficient low‐voltage gating and on‐skin operation. The devices exhibit ultraviolet‐to‐near‐infrared response, mechanical robustness under bending, and verified

Shoot and plantlet regeneration from meristems of Dioscorea rotundata Poir and Dioscorea alata L. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In vitro culture media capable of regenerating moderate to high shoots and/or plantlets from meristems of two yam species - Dioscorea rotundata and Dioscorea alata within comparable duration of 10 weeks as commonly obtained in other monocots and root and

Zwitterionic Self‐Assembled Monolayer for Simultaneous Noise Suppression and Hole Extraction in High‐Performance Near‐Infrared Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a new hole transporting material (HTM) mechanism for self‐assembled monolayers in near‐infrared organic photodetectors. The formation of zwitterions induces a strong electric field that significantly increases the work function of HTM‐coated indium tin oxide substrates. The devices exhibit low dark current and noise, along with high

Desenvolvimento de Opuntia ficus-indica (L.) Mill., em diferentes substratos, após micropropagação in vitro = The development of Opuntia ficus-indica (L) mill., in different substrates, after in vitro micropropagation

open access: yesActa Scientiarum: Animal Sciences, 2006

Lopsided oat (Avena strigosa) as a new summer annual cover crop for weed suppression in Central Europe

open access: yesJulius-Kühn-Archiv, 2012
Lopsided oat (Avena strigosa) has been cultivated for many years, especially in Brazil, as a summer annual cover crop. Experiments were conducted in Stuttgart-Hohenheim in 2010 to estimate the capability of lopsided oat, yellow mustard (Sinapis alba ...

MAX1and MAX2 control shoot lateral branching in Arabidopsis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Plant shoots elaborate their adult form by selective control over the growth of both their primary shoot apical meristem and their axillary shoot meristems.

Suppression of Photo‐Mediated Traps in Integrated Organic Photovoltaic–Photodetector Devices via N‐Type Self‐Assembly‐Driven Interfacial Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Conventional unstable electron transport layers (ETLs) limit self‐powered organic sensors. This work resolves this by developing a n‐type self‐assembled monolayer (SAM), “3‐PAPh”. This SAM forms a chemically stable and structurally ordered interface that fundamentally suppresses defect formation.
