Arc Phenomena in low-voltage current limiting circuit breakers [PDF]
Circuit breakers are an important safety feature in most electrical circuits, and they act to prevent excessive currents caused by short circuits, for example. Low-voltage current limiting circuit breakers are activated by a trip solenoid when a critical

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Influence of short circuit conditions on IGBT short circuit current in motor drives [PDF]
Protecting the IGBTs against short circuit conditions is a critical aspect of the Industrial motor drive design. The SC (short circuit) conditions can occur in a variety of ways in an industrial environment. The SC applied across the motor drive terminals result in a different fault current profile than a SC that happens at the motor terminals or ...

Big Black Hole, Little Neutron Star: Magnetic Dipole Fields in the Rindler Spacetime [PDF]
As a black hole and neutron star approach during inspiral, the field lines of a magnetized neutron star eventually thread the black hole event horizon and a short-lived electromagnetic circuit is established.

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.
