Metaproteome Analysis of Short‐Term Thermal Stress in Three Sympatric Coral Species Reveals Divergent Host Responses

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 3, March 2026.
Short‐term thermal stress triggers distinct molecular responses in three sympatric coral species with contrasting thermal resilience. Proteomic and metabolomic profiling reveal both species‐specific and limited shared pathways underlying these stress responses.

Critical Review on the Molecular Behavior of Surfactants at the Oil–Water Interface During Oil Displacement

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 3, Page 1626-1662, March 2026.
This review systematically explores the molecular behavior of diverse surfactants (anionic, cationic, nonionic, amphoteric) at the oil–water interface through molecular dynamics simulations. It highlights their roles in reducing interfacial tension, altering interfacial structure, and enhancing oil recovery efficiency.

Oleoylethanolamide regulates intestinal stem cell activity and villus size via PPARα signaling pathway

open access: yesiMetaOmics, Volume 3, Issue 1, March 2026.
First use of a natural swine model with lipid metabolism to directly link lipid differences to a quantifiable intestinal villus height phenotype. Identified the phospholipid‐derived oleoylethanolamide, rather than canonical fatty acids, as the endogenous primary ligand that activates peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptors α (PPARα) to enlarge ...

Highly Durable and Uniform Structural Coloration via Spray‐Coated Organic Mie Resonators Randomly Distributed in Three Dimensions

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 5, 6 March 2026.
This study demonstrates uniform, durable non‐iridescent structural coloration using polystyrene nanoparticles randomly embedded in a thick sodium silicate with absorptive additives. By suppressing the effects of the structure factor and multiple scattering, this approach achieves uniform coloration from the backscattering.

Psychometric Properties of the Children With Cerebral Palsy (7–18 Years Old) Self‐Care Skills Scale‐Parent Form: A Turkish Validity and Reliability Study

open access: yesNursing Open, Volume 13, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim This study aimed to develop the children with cerebral palsy (7–18 years old) self‐care skills scale‐parent form and assess its validity and reliability. Design The sample of this methodological study consisted of 317 parents of children with cerebral palsy (CP) aged 7–18 years who were trained in special education and rehabilitation ...
