Facile Tri‐Metallic Catalyst Fabrication Using the Dynamic Hydrogen Bubble Template method

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Porous metal catalysts are prepared using hydrogen bubbles as a natural template. By carefully selecting metal combinations and thermal treatment, the researchers tailored surface composition and structure, boosting catalytic performance. The approach offers a powerful and flexible route to designing advanced materials for green energy Abstract ...

Imaging-Based Prevalence of Superior Labral Anterior-Posterior Tears Significantly Increases in the Aging Shoulder. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
BackgroundSuperior labral anterior-posterior (SLAP) tears can be associated with pain and shoulder dysfunction. Relatively little is known about the age-related prevalence of SLAP tears.PurposeTo investigate the age-related prevalence of imaging ...

H-alpha Emission Variability in the gamma-ray Binary LS I +61 303

open access: yes, 2010
LS I +61 303 is an exceptionally rare example of a high mass X-ray binary (HMXB) that also exhibits MeV-TeV emission, making it one of only a handful of "gamma-ray binaries".

Oxygen Evolution Reaction by Ni‐Hexacyanoferrates Nanocubes Integrated with Trigonal Selenium: Effect, Properties and Performances

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work describes a novel approach to obtain composite submicrometric structures of nickel hexacyanoferrate integrating trigonal selenium with the aim of enhancing the catalytic efficiency in oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Interestingly, the nanostructures undergo a cube‐to‐sphere transition that optimizes surface properties, leading to superior ...

Anterior Approach to Retracted Anterosuperior Cuff Tear With Biceps Superior Capsular Reconstruction and Subscapularis Release and Repair With Transosseous Equivalent Double-Row Repair

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques
The incidence of a subscapularis tear combined with any other rotator cuff tear is around 19% to 49% among all rotator cuff lesions. On the contrary, less attention has been given to the treatment of anterosuperior rotator cuff tears, particularly by ...

Enhanced Switching Performance in Single‐Crystalline PbTiO3 Ferroelectric Memristors for Replicating Synaptic Plasticity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrated single‐crystalline PbTiO3‐based memristors with atomically sharp interfaces, well‐ordered lattices, and minimal lattice mismatch. The devices exhibited an ON/OFF ratio exceeding 105, high stability, and rich resistance‐state modulation.
