Glenohumeral instability and arthrosis

open access: yesActa Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica, 2020
Although the development of arthrosis is rare following shoulder dislocations, it represents a significant problem if it develops after surgery for shoulder instability.

Impact of Nano‐Scale Defects on the Macroscopic Amplified Spontaneous Emission in Polycrystalline Perovskite Thin‐Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, we discovered that optical gain within these polycrystalline perovskite thin films occurs primarily at defective sites, where, despite the low photoluminescence efficiency, we demonstrated high optical gain efficiency and long photocarrier lifetime. Our findings highlight the importance of defects in the development of electrically pumped

Risk Factors Associated with First Time and Recurrent Shoulder Instability: A Systematic Review

open access: yesInternational Journal of Sports Physical Therapy
# Background Shoulder instabilities constitute a large proportion of shoulder injuries and have a wide range of presentations. While evidence regarding glenohumeral dislocations and associated risk factors has been reported, less is known regarding the ...

Hybrid Liquid Metal Cathode Enables High‐Performance Intrinsically Stretchable OLEDs

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a hybrid liquid metal (Hyb‐LM) cathode engineered via selective rupture of liquid metal particles (LMPs), forming a bilayer architecture with a surface liquid metal (LM) layer and underlying LMP layer, which has benefits of both LM and LMPs.

Liquid Metal Microrobots for Magnetically Guided Transvascular Navigation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Liquid metal‐based microrobots combine magnetic steering, intrinsic X‐ray visibility and softness, to navigate blood vessels even against flow. Under clinically relevant magnetic fields, liquid metal microrobots roll along vessel walls, cross endothelial barriers, and accumulate in target tissues.

Photoresponsive Adaptive Reconfiguration of Single‐Atom Interface With Intermittent Light and Soft Ionic Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We present a photoresponsive platform that integrates SACs with halide perovskite supports, turning perovskite ion mobility, typically a stability concern, into a functional mechanism for light‐regulated self‐repair and reversible atomic reconfiguration. Adaptive metal‐support interactions are established through bandgap‐funnel engineering and the soft

Recurrent posterior shoulder instability

open access: yesActa Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica, 2021
Posterior shoulder instability is a unique pathology seldom seen in adult population that presents with shoulder pain, subluxation and giving way for shoulder motions.

Bulk and Surface Dual‐Modification for Stabilizing RuO2 Anode in 2 A cm−2 PEMWE Operation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The high‐current‐density stability of the RuO2‐based anode in PEMWE could be taken care of by a bulk and surface dual modification strategy developed in this work, where Cr doping modulates the Ru valence state in the bulk phase, suppressing Ru overoxidation, whereas Si modification stabilizes the reaction interface by inhibiting catalyst ...

Shoulder instability: classification and methods of clinical examination

open access: yesActa Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica, 2020
The shoulder is a complex joint whose stability relies on both dynamic and static factors. Dysfunction of one of these components gives rise to shoulder problems.

Self‐Regulating Sodium‐Ion Battery Materials: From Phase Reconstruction to Functional Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Self‐regulating sodium‐ion batteries hinge on programmable phase behavior in layered oxides, interphases that renew without growth, and electrolytes that steer solvation and chemistry. This review distills mechanisms into design rules that span composition, site and entropy tuning, and self‐buffering anodes, linking operando evidence to choices and ...
