Phytochemical Characterization and Potential Anti‐Oxidative Activity of Lavandula angustifolia subsp. pyrenaica (DC.), Lavandula x intermedia Emeric ex Loisel cv Grosso, and cv Super Essential Oils Compared to a Commercial Lavender Essential Oil

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the phytochemical profiles and antioxidant properties of three lavender essential oils (LEOs) from Lavandula angustifolia subsp. pyrenaica (DC.), Lavandula x intermedia Emeric ex Loisel cv Grosso, and Lavandula x intermedia Emeric ex Loisel cv Super, and compares them to a commercial one.

Towards angiosperms genome evolution in time [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2013
In this communication, direction of evolutionary variability of parameters of genome size and structurally functional activity of plants in angiosperm taxa among life forms, are analysed. It is shown that, in the Cretaceous-Cenozoic era, the nuclear genome of the plants tended to increase.

The Phenolic Content and Bioactivity Assessment of Rubus sanctus Schreber Species with Potential for Food and Ethnopharmacological Uses

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this study, the phytochemical content and various biological activities of Rubus sanctus Schreber species, widely distributed in Turkiye and used in folk medicine, were determined. The ethanol extracts of the root and aerial parts of the species were prepared and their bioactive phytochemical composition was identified by liquid ...

Parameterized Algorithms for Modular-Width [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2013
It is known that a number of natural graph problems which are FPT parameterized by treewidth become W-hard when parameterized by clique-width. It is therefore desirable to find a different structural graph parameter which is as general as possible, covers dense graphs but does not incur such a heavy algorithmic penalty.

Ethnomedicinal Uses, Phytochemistry, Pharmacological Activities, and Toxicology of the Subfamily Gomphrenoideae (Amaranthaceae): A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The subfamily Gomphrenoideae is composed of about 480 accepted species, many of which have been historically used as medicinal plants, reason why they have been studied in terms of chemical profile, biological activity, and safety. This review consolidates the advances in research on this subfamily over the past 47 years, emphasizing its ...

Late‐Stage Intermolecular O‐Peptidylation Protocol Enabled by Sequential Acyl Transfer on Thiol‐Incorporated Threonine Followed by Desulfurization

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The late‐stage intermolecular O‐acylation of the threonine (Thr) side chain was accomplished by reacting thiol‐incorporated Thr with a peptide thioester in open air. The thioester, which contained the volatile trifluoroethanethiol, facilitated the formation of S,O‐diacyl peptides.

Towards Systemic Leadership Resilience: Proposing the Hybrid Artificial Intelligent Leader in Response to Economic Crises

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Administrative Sciences / Revue Canadienne des Sciences de l'Administration, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Researchers now understand that the Great Recession stemmed from a “systemic leadership failure,” involving various entities such as the government, financial institutions, investors, homeowners, and regulators. Consequently, traditional leadership approaches of the time came under intense scrutiny, necessitating a shift in leadership ...
