MR sialography of iatrogenic sialocele: comparison with conventional sialography [PDF]
The objective of this study was to compare the conventional sialography with MR sialography in a series of patients with iatrogenic sialocele (sialocyst).50 salivary glands in 39 patients with suspected inflammatory disease of the salivary gland underwent conventional sialography and MR sialography.

Technique for Difficult Wharton's Duct Cannulation. [PDF]
Abstract The comparative ease of cannulating Stensen's duct is contrasted by the acknowledged difficulty in cannulating Wharton's duct. Although access to Wharton's duct can be facilitated with a floor‐of‐mouth incision, it is desirable to avoid this open approach.

Clinical Utility of Contemporary Digital Infusion Submandibular Sialography. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Objectives Contemporary sialography couples mechanical ductal dilation with hydrodilation and utilizes iodinated contrast with antimicrobial properties to generate diagnostic data. This procedure has been reported to have therapeutic value that has not been investigated in a large contemporary series.

Cone Beam CT Sialography for the Assessment of Submandibular Gland Structure in Diabetes Mellitus. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the anatomical and morphological structure and potential pathological conditions of the submandibular gland by performing Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) sialography in patients with diabetes mellitus. Study Design The submandibular salivary glands of 25 diabetic and 25 healthy volunteers were examined by CBCT ...

Assessing Salivary Ductal Structures of the Donkey (<i>Equus asinus</i>) Using Conventional Sialography and Its Practical Guide. [PDF]
Sialoradiography is an imaging technique that assesses the ducal macroanatomy and function of the major salivary glands (MSGs). Despite reports of salivary diseases in donkeys, no studies have documented detailed information on sialoradiography of the ductal structures.

Masseter Muscle Size in Chronic Parotid Sialadenitis. [PDF]
Masseter muscle thickness was greater in patients with chronic parotid sialadenitis. Findings were significant when controlling for sex, BMI, and age. ABSTRACT Objective The relationship between masseter muscle thickness and parotid duct obstruction resulting in recurrent sialadenitis is not well defined.

Identifying dose constraints for the parotid ducts to minimize patient-reported xerostomia: Is conventional mean dose sparing of the parotid glands sufficient? [PDF]
Abstract Background and purpose The aim of this study was to identify dose constraints for the parotid ducts that limit patient‐reported xerostomia and estimate whether these constraints are achieved during conventional parotid gland sparing radiation therapy (PGS‐RT).

Major Salivary Gland Examinations of the Donkey (Equus asinus) Using Sectional Anatomy, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. [PDF]
This study aimed to evaluate computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance image (MRI) and gross sections of the major salivary glands. ABSTRACT Visualizing the major salivary glands (MSGs) in domestic mammals using plain radiology and identifying damaged their structures is impossible.
