Always Be Prepared: Lessons Learned From Risk‐Coping Strategies of Thai Households in the Wake of Two Major Economic Crises

open access: yesInternational Studies of Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper aimed to comparatively examine the function of three risk‐coping strategies, namely savings, borrowings, and work‐hour adjustments, during two major economic crises in Thailand. Using the Socioeconomic Survey (SES) collected by the National Statistical Office (NSO) in Thailand, we examined data from the 1998 financial crisis and the

Impact of pre‐examination video education in Gd‐EOB‐DTPA‐enhanced liver MRI: A comparative study

open access: yesJournal of Medical Radiation Sciences, Volume 72, Issue 1, Page 34-41, March 2025.
This study evaluates the effects of pre‐examination video education on patient anxiety, satisfaction and image quality in Gd‐EOB‐DTPA‐enhanced liver MRI. We found that video education significantly reduced anxiety, increased patient satisfaction and improved image quality compared to standard pre‐MRI guidance, highlighting the potential of video ...

Projected Annual and Monsoonal Precipitation Trends of CMIP6 Over Peninsular Malaysia

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, EarlyView.
In this study, we examined historical and projected precipitation temporal trends across Peninsular Malaysia using ground‐based records and CMIP6 models from NEX‐GDDP. Analysing data from 518 reliable gauges over 1973–2022, it identified spatial and monsoonal variations.

Performance Evaluation of the MPAS Model in Simulating Southeast Asian Rainfall Characteristics

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, EarlyView.
This study evaluates the performance of the Model for Prediction Across Scales–Atmosphere (MPAS) in reproducing key rainfall characteristics over Southeast Asia (SEA) during 2000–2020, using the MSWEP dataset as reference. MPAS realistically captures the observed meridional rainfall gradient, with higher rainfall in the south and lower in the north, as

Green Intellectual Capital: A Green Shoot in the Vast Field of Green

open access: yesKnowledge and Process Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The need for environmental awareness and “green management” in business and management has led to green becoming a vast field that needs to be parceled out to identify the green shoots. Knowledge is emerging as the key factor in developing green awareness, which in business has come to be called green intellectual capital.

Highly Versatile Real‐Time Optical Noise Filtering Through Temporal Cloaking

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Conventional bandpass filtering strategies may be insufficient for recovering optical waveforms under extremely noisy conditions. We demonstrate a temporal‐cloaking denoising strategy enabled by the temporal Talbot effect, which concentrates the coherent signal of interest into short temporal slots while broadband noise remains temporally spread.
