Switching Spike Plasticity Shapes ACE2 Engagement Across SARS‐CoV‐2 Variants
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Conformational plasticity governs SARS‐CoV‐2 spike function and ACE2 recognition. Using high‐speed AFM and single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we analyzed the ancestral spike and nine variants, revealing progressive rigidification from Delta, variable plasticity in Omicron sublineages, and JN.1 compaction.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.ClassiCOL_v2 uses a novel “peptide patching” framework that treats any collagen sample as a patchwork of peptide sequences derived from phylogenetically related species. This allows the algorithm to simultaneously resolve two previously intractable problems: multi‐species samples and/or database deficiencies.

Enhancing Quasi‐Two‐Dimensional Electronic Structure in Bi2O2Se via Chlorine Substitution
Advanced Science, EarlyView.We demonstrate chlorine substitution as an effective strategy to transform Bi2O2Se into an exfoliatable van der Waals superlattice. Key electronic band feature, including indirect bandgap, effective mass is well preserved, while the 2D character of the system is sufficiently enhanced.
