Genetic variation in Siberian stone pine (Pinus sibirica Du Tour) group and individuals seedlings from the south of Western Siberia forest zone

open access: yesПроблемы ботаники Южной Сибири и Монголии, 2022
In forests with the participation of Siberian stone pine, you can often find group seedlings - young plants grow in groups, closely adjacent to each other. The reason for this is the zoochoric method of spreading Siberian stone pine seeds - group seedlings appear from seeds hidden by nutcracker in the ground cover.

Improved Estimates of Biomass Expansion Factors for Russian Forests [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Biomass structure is an important feature of terrestrial vegetation. The parameters of forest biomass structure are important for forest monitoring, biomass modelling and the optimal utilization and management of forests.

Effects of Climatic Factors on Radial Growth of Siberian Stone Pine and Siberian Larch in Sites With Different Soil Humidity in the South of Western Siberia [PDF]

open access: yesЖурнал Сибирского федерального университета: Серия Биология, 2009
The effects of temperature and precipitations on the formation of annual rings in stem wood of Siberian stone pine (Pinus sibirica Du Tour) and Siberian larch (Larix sibirica Ledeb.) in sites with different soil humidity are discussed.

Genetic organization and heterogeneity of the Siberian cedar pine (Pinus sibirica Du Tour) population in the Western Siberia (Tomsk region) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Cedar forest is the most complex and dynamic formation of the Siberian Taiga. It clearly demonstrates the processes of natural regeneration dynamics, sustainability, space-time structure and biodiversity of Siberian forests (Drozdov and Grishenkov, 2003).

Influence of weather factors on seed cone formation of Siberian stone pine Pinus sibirica Du Tour (Pinaceae Lindl.)

open access: yesПроблемы ботаники Южной Сибири и Монголии, 2023
Nowadays, when studying the fruiting of tree species, it is of great interest to understand the influence of weather factors on the inter-annual variability of fruit and seed yield. Siberian stone pine covers a large part of the Asian part of Russia and is valued primarily for its seeds.

Cave Palaeolithic of the Ural Mountains – a review

open access: yesBoreas, Volume 55, Issue 1, Page 4-28, January 2026.
