Polymorphism of Mitochondrial DNA in Population of Siberian Tatars from Barabinsk Forest Steppe

The analysis of mtDNA polymorphism was carried out in the population of Siberian Tatars from the Barabinsk forest steppe living on the territory of Novosibirsk oblast (N = 199). As a result of the analysis of HVS I and HVS II nucleotide sequence, 101 haplotypes that refer to 22 mtDNA haplogroups were detected.

Introduction. The reproductive parameters of the Tatar population of Siberia were studied, specifically: the Siberian Tatars, the Siberian Bukharans, and the Kolyon Tatars. A comparative analysis was conducted using a unified set of indicators to assess differences among these groups, and in relation to the Volga-Ural Tatars.

The article aims at describing morphological (affixal) ways of expressing comparison in poorly investigated idioms of Barabian, Chat and Siberiantatar. Special questionnaires were designed to obtain the targeted sentences (tokens) with the meanings of similarity and differentiation of objects.
