Of 197 sibships that were evaluated 47.6 per cent, excluding the probands, had undiagnosed uropathology. When the proband had reflux 26.5 per cent of the asymptomatic siblings also had reflux, When the proband had a uropathology other than reflux 13.2 per cent of the siblings had reflux and 46 per cent had other abnormalities.
