Mineralogy and Geochemistry of an Epithermal Manganese District, Sierras Pampeanas, Argentina

International Geology Review, 2004
The manganese mineralization studied in this paper represents the major concentration of this element in Argentina. It occurs in an area of 70 x 30 km, in the Sierras Pampeanas ranges, located in the provinces of Cordoba and Santiago del Estero. The analyzed area represents about 30% of the entire mineralized system.
