Study on Micro‐Nano Pore Characteristics and Classification of Tight Sandstone Reservoir Based on Q‐Cluster

open access: yesGeofluids, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
To realize the quantitative classification and comprehensive evaluation of the tight oil reservoir in the 4th of Quantou Formation in Songliao Basin, the pore structure of tight oil reservoir was quantitatively analyzed. In this study, experiments based on the constant‐speed mercury injection, nuclear magnetic resonance, and micron CT are based on the ...

The Influence of Reservoir Composition on the Pore Structure of Continental Shale: A Case Study from the Qingshankou Formation in the Sanzhao Sag of Northern Songliao Basin, NE China

open access: yesGeofluids, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
Determining the pore structure characteristics and influencing factors of continental shale reservoir in the oil generation stage is of great significance for evaluating the shale oil reservoir space and analyzing shale oil enrichment mechanism. In this paper, shale from the first member of the Upper Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation (K2qn1) in the ...

Geological and Geochemical Characteristics of the First Member of the Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation in the Qijia Sag, Northern Songliao Basin, Northeast China: Implication for Its Shale Oil Enrichment

open access: yesGeofluids, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
The Qijia Sag, a secondary tectonic unit in the northern Songliao Basin, developed plentiful shale oil resources in the first member of the Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation (K2qn1) as its main target layer. However, the systematic study on the geological and geochemical characteristics of K2qn1 in the sag has not been carried out.

Geochemical characteristics and hydrocarbon expulsion of source rocks in the first member of the Qingshankou Formation in the Qijia‐Gulong Sag, Songliao Basin, Northeast China: Evaluation of shale oil resource potential

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 8, Issue 5, Page 1450-1467, May 2020., 2020
Organic‐rich mudstones of K2qn1 were deposited in semideep and deep lake facies with reducing and weak reducing conditions, and high TOC, type I and type II1 kerogen and are mature. The threshold and peak of hydrocarbon expulsion of K2qn1 source rocks are at 0.85% VR and 95% VR, respectively.
