Squaraine Dyes for Organic Photomultiplication Photodetectors with 220% External Quantum Efficiency at 1240 nm

The synthesis of a range of squaraine dyes is reported with maximum absorption in solution above 1100 nm. Near‐infrared sensitive organic photomultiplication photodetectors are developed. Photomultiplication occurs via squaraine hole trap‐induced injection of electrons from the external circuit.

Ultralow Overpotential in Rechargeable Li–CO2 Batteries Enabled by Caesium Phosphomolybdate as an Effective Redox Catalyst

This study represents the first application of a Keggin‐type polyoxometalate, caesium phosphomolybdate (CPM), as a bifunctional redox catalyst for rechargeable Li–CO2 batteries. CPM significantly reduced the potential gap between discharge and charge reactions to 0.67 V, outperforming most reported catalysts. It also exhibited a high discharge capacity
