Synthesis of AgBiS2 and AgInS2 Based on Formation Energies in Sulfur‐Rich Reducing Flame

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐surface‐area AgInS2 and AgBiS2 nanoparticles were synthesized via enclosed flame spray pyrolysis by tuning flame conditions and formation energies to guide phase formation. Flame parameters were tuned to suppress oxides and enable pure sulfide phase growth.

Method for Fused Phase and PCA Direction Based on a SIFT Framework for Multi-Modal Image Matching

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The high noise and local deformation of multi-modal images reduce the accuracy of scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) image matching. To solve this problem, a new method based on the SIFT framework, which fuses the phase consistency optimization ...

SAR image matching based on rotation-invariant description

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2023
The utilization of scale invariant feature transform algorithm in synthetic-aperture radar images (SAR–SIFT) to match image features may lead to principal orientation assignments of descriptors being affected by speckle noise, thereby diminishing ...

Evaluation of the SIFT Object Recognition Method in Mobile Robots

open access: yes, 2009
Generic object recognition in mobile robots is of primary importance in order to enhance the representation of the environment that robots will use for their reasoning processes. Towards this aim, the contribution of this paper is an evaluation of the SIFT Object Recognition method in a challenging dataset, focusing on issues relevant to mobile ...

Electrostatic‐Attraction‐Driven Self‐Assembled Graphene‐Disordered Rocksalt Composite Cathode for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A non‐aqueous, solution‐based graphene‐wrapping strategy is shown to stabilize disordered rocksalt LMTOF cathodes without structural degradation. The graphene‐wrapped cathode suppresses oxygen loss and parasitic interfacial reactions, lowers impedance growth, and delivers improved cycling stability and rate capability compared with conventional ball ...

The Time-SIFT method : detecting 3-D changes from archival photogrammetric analysis with almost exclusively image information

open access: yes, 2018
Archival aerial imagery is a source of worldwide very high resolution data for documenting paste 3-D changes. However, external information is required so that accurate 3-D models can be computed from archival aerial imagery. In this research, we propose

A Novel Decellularized Fibrocartilage Graft Promotes Tympanic Membrane Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
An off‐the‐shelf decellularized porcine meniscus fibrocartilage graft (MEND) is engineered for pediatric tympanoplasty. Featuring a microchannel architecture that promotes host cell invasion, MEND rapidly closes tympanic membrane perforations and fully remodels in vivo, outperforming fascia and matching cartilage grafts while avoiding donor‐site ...

Microsphere‐Templated Conductive Syntactic Foams for Recyclable and Additively Manufactured Soft Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a microsphere‐templated strategy to fabricate reprocessable PEDOT:PSS syntactic foams with tunable porosity, stable conductivity, and 3D printability. In situ PEDOT:PSS coatings create a conductive network that maintains electrical performance at high void fractions.

A SAR IMAGE REGISTRATION METHOD BASED ON SIFT ALGORITHM [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2017
In order to improve the stability and rapidity of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images matching, an effective method was presented. Firstly, the adaptive smoothing filtering was employed for image denoising in image processing based on Wallis filtering ...
