Unveiling the distinctive geochemical signature of fine ware through Sr–Nd–Pb isotopes: A site‐specific perspective from the site of Cales (South Italy)

open access: yesGeoarchaeology, Volume 40, Issue 1, January/February 2025.
Abstract This study explores the use of three isotopic systematics—Sr, Nd, and Pb— combined together for the first time to trace the origins of ancient pottery. This approach strengthens our ability to relate raw materials to the final products. The materials selected for the analysis are from a well‐documented data set, previously subjected to a ...

不同浸出方式对铁核桃油品质的 影响及其提取工艺优化Influence of different extraction methods on the quality of Juglans sigillata oil and its extraction process optimization

open access: yesZhongguo youzhi

Ancient gene introgression promotes biodiversity of Nymphaea nouchali in Hainan under environmental changes

open access: yesBiological Diversity, Volume 1, Issue 3-4, Page 165-179, December 2024.
The genomic genotypes of N. lotus were infiltrated into N. nouchali tens of thousands of years ago unraveling the evolutionary mystery between N. nouchali and N. lotus. Abstract Hybridization is common in the plant kingdom. Under the influence of global climate change, an increasing number of hybrid species have experienced significant shifts from the ...

Species divergence and environmental adaptation of Picea asperata complex at the whole genome level

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 14, Issue 8, August 2024.
To understand the mechanisms of interspecific differentiation within Picea, we analysed the genetic relationships and environmental adaptability of eight phenotypically similar species of Picea. It was found that these eight species could be differentiated into five evolutionary branches.

Phylogeography of Morella nana: The Wumeng Mountains as a natural geographical isolation boundary on the Yunnan‐Guizhou Plateau

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2024.
The east–west divergence reveals the existence of a natural geographical isolation boundary in the form of the Wumeng Mts, which divides the YGP into the Yunnan and Guizhou Plateaus. There existed at least two glacial refugia during the Quaternary glacial period, along with a genetic diversity center, and at least two large geographic protection units ...
