Comparison of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Energy Absorbers Under Uniaxial Compressive Loading
This study investigates LCD 3D printed Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures as mechanical energy absorbers. By comparing various base designs and layered combinations under uniaxial compression, it identifies that a Diamond‐Gyroid sandwich structure offers superior performance.

Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A - Physical Metallurgy and Materials Science, 1978A new procedure for evaluating the sigma phase precipitation tendency of superalloys has been developed. It is called SIGMA-SAFE. Phase diagrams are used to determine the degree of super saturation with respect to precipitation of the sigma phase as a function of temperature and alloy compositions.
