Polynomial asymptotic stability of damped stochastic differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2004
The paper studies the polynomial convergence of solutions of a scalar nonlinear It\^{o} stochastic differential equation\[dX(t) = -f(X(t))\,dt + \sigma(t)\,dB(t)\] where it is known, {\it a priori}, that $\lim_{t\rightarrow\infty} X(t)=0$, a.s.

Sigma models on flags [PDF]

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2018
We study (1+1)-dimensional non-linear sigma models whose target space is the flag manifold U(N)\over U(N_1)\times U(N_2)\cdots U(N_m), with a specific focus on the special case U(N)/U(1)^{N}U(N)/U(1)N. These generalize the well-known \mathbb{CP}^{N-1}ℂℙN−

Oscillation criteria for second order nonlinear retarded differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2008
The aim of this paper is to deduce oscillatory and asymptotic behavior of the solutions of the second order nonlinear retarded differential equation $$ \left[r(t)\!\big|\big[x(t)-p(t)x\left[\tau(t)\right]\big]'\big|^{\alpha-1} \big[x(t)-p(t)x\left[\tau(t)

Trends in Sigma-1 Receptor Research: A 25-Year Bibliometric Analysis

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology, 2019
Purpose: There are previous reviews focused on Sigma-1 receptor but no bibliometric studies examining this field as a whole. This article aims to present a global view of Sigma-1 receptor research and its intellectual structure.

On Quantum T-duality in sigma models

open access: yes, 1998
The problem of quantum equivalence between non-linear sigma models related by Abelian or non-Abelian T-duality is studied in perturbation theory. Using the anomalous Ward identity for Weyl symmetry we derive a relation between the Weyl anomaly coefficients of the original and dual theories.

Drift parameter estimation in stochastic differential equation with multiplicative stochastic volatility

open access: yesModern Stochastics: Theory and Applications, 2016
We consider a stochastic differential equation of the form \[ dX_{t}=\theta a(t,X_{t})\hspace{0.1667em}dt+\sigma _{1}(t,X_{t})\sigma _{2}(t,Y_{t})\hspace{0.1667em}dW_{t}\] with multiplicative stochastic volatility, where Y is some adapted stochastic ...

Neutro-Sigma Algebras and Anti-Sigma Algebras [PDF]

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems, 2022
Neutro-algebra structures play a significant role in the neutrosophic theory. Especially, with the help of neutroalgebraic structures; neutrosophic theory makes a valuable addition to the classical theory.

Thermally activated conductance of a silicon inversion layer by electrons excited above the mobility edge [PDF]

open access: yes, 1981
The thermally activated conductivity sigma of an n-type inversion layer on a (100) oriented silicon surface and its derivative d sigma /dT were measured in the temperature range 1.4K-4.2K. Above T approximately=2.5K both the temperature dependence of (T/

The SIGMA rat brain templates and atlases for multimodal MRI data analysis and visualization

open access: yesNature Communications, 2019
Preclinical imaging studies offer a unique access to the rat brain, allowing investigations that go beyond what is possible in human studies. Unfortunately, these techniques still suffer from a lack of dedicated and standardized neuroimaging tools ...

Elastic differential cross-section $${\mathrm{d}}\sigma /{\mathrm{d}}t$$ at $$\sqrt{s}=2.76\hbox { TeV}$$ and implications on the existence of a colourless C-odd three-gluon compound state [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The proton-proton elastic differential cross section ${\rm d}\sigma/{\rm d}t$ has been measured by the TOTEM experiment at $\sqrt{s}=2.76$ TeV energy with $\beta^{*}=11$ m beam optics.
