Multirate Signal Processing [PDF]

open access: possible, 2001
A frequent task in digital signal processing is to adjust the sampling rate according to the signal of interest. Systems with different sampling rates are referred to as multirate systems. In this chapter, two typical examples will illustrate decimation and interpolation in multirate DSP systems.

The processing of proprioceptive signals

Neuropsychologia, 1979
Abstract Simple and two-choice reaction times were investigated in two experiments using proprioceptive stimuli. The form of the stimulus was the release of the passively supported forearm. The responses were to halt the falling arm and to activate a microswitch held in the hand. Latencies were also determined from the EMG activity.

Process and Signals

2020
Processes play a major role on an operating system. When you execute a computer program in your system, it is done with a process. Without processes, you aren’t able to do any activity on an OS. In this chapter, you look at processes and how to perform various tasks.

Signal Processing in Proteomics

2009
Computational proteomics applications are often imagined as a pipeline, where information is processed in each stage before it flows to the next one. Independent of the type of application, the first stage invariably consists of obtaining the raw mass spectrometric data from the spectrometer and preparing it for use in the later stages by enhancing the
