Low frequency sound field reconstruction in a non-rectangular room using a small number of microphones

open access: yesActa Acustica, 2020
An accurate knowledge of the sound field distribution inside a room is required to identify and optimally locate corrective measures for room acoustics.

A clutter suppression algorithm via subspace‐weighted mixed‐norm minimisation

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2023
Space‐time adaptive processing (STAP) struggles to effectively suppress clutter in the heterogeneous clutter environment due to the lack of training samples.

The performance of microwave photonic signal processors based on microcombs with different input signal waveforms [PDF]

open access: yesMDPI Photonics Volume 10, 10111283 (2023)
Microwave photonic (MWP) signal processors, which process microwave signals based on pho-tonic technologies, bring advantages intrinsic to photonics such as low loss, large processing bandwidth, and strong immunity to electromagnetic interference. Optical microcombs can offer a large number of wavelength channels and compact device footprints, which ...

A modified design method of pulse repetition frequency for synthetic aperture radar system based on the single point equivalent squint model

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2021
Pulse repetition frequency (PRF) is an essential parameter in synthetic aperture radar (SAR). However, a small PRF value will cause spectrum ambiguity and a large value will increase the computational complexity.

Minimally spaced electrode positions for multi-functional chest sensors: ECG and respiratory signal estimation

open access: yesCurrent Directions in Biomedical Engineering, 2016
Unobtrusive medical instrumentation is a key in continuous patient monitoring. To increase compliance, multi-functional sensor concepts and measurement sites different from gold-standards are used. In this work, we aim to combine both approaches.

A Novel Multi-Angle SAR Imaging System and Method Based on an Ultrahigh Speed Platform

open access: yesSensors, 2019
Considering the difficulty of pulse repetition frequency (PRF) design in multi-angle SAR when using ultra-high speed platforms, a multi-angle SAR imaging system in a unified coordinate system is proposed.

Uniform attribute-content model

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
There have been growing needs for text processing, such as classifying, retrieving and clustering. The foundation of such a process is to extract features, which can best describe the text. Great progress has been made in text modelling. However, most of

Clutter suppression based on iterative reweighted methods with multiple measurement vectors for airborne radar

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, 2022
Sparse recovery algorithms have been applied to the Space‐time adaptive processing for reducing the requirement of samples over the past 15 years. However, many Sparse recovery algorithms are not robust and need accurate user parameters.

Signal denoising based on the Schrödinger operator's eigenspectrum and a curvature constraint [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Recently, a new Signal processing method, named Semi-Classical Signal Analysis (SCSA), has been proposed for denoising Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) signals. It is based on the Schr\"odinger Operator's eigenspectrum. It allows an efficient noise reduction while preserving MRS signal's peaks.
