Frame Theory for Signal Processing in Psychoacoustics
This review chapter aims to strengthen the link between frame theory and signal processing tasks in psychoacoustics. On the one side, the basic concepts of frame theory are presented and some proofs are provided to explain those concepts in some detail ...

Conceptual Frameworks for Multimodal Social Signal Processing [PDF]
This special issue is about a research area which is developing rapidly. Pentland gave it a name which has become widely used, ‘Social Signal Processing’ (SSP for short), and his phrase provides the title of a European project, SSPnet, which has a brief ...

Snapshot Hyperspectral Imaging With Co-Designed Optics, Color Filter Array, and Unrolled Network
We propose a novel snapshot hyperspectral imaging method that incorporates co-designed optics, a color filter array (CFA), and an unrolled post-processing network through end-to-end learning.

ABSTRACT Purpose Although not always achieved, complete chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) control is the conventional goal of CINV prophylaxis. In this two‐center, mixed‐methods study, we sought to understand the preferences of adolescent patients and family caregivers for CINV control endpoints.

Intravitreal GD2‐Specific Chimeric Antigen Receptor T‐Cell Therapy for Refractory Retinoblastoma
ABSTRACT Effective treatments for advanced, treatment‐resistant retinoblastoma (RB) remain limited. GD2‐specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells show potent antitumor activity with minimal toxicity but have not previously been evaluated in RB.

Ultrafast Optical Signal Processing with Bragg Structures
The phase, amplitude, speed, and polarization, in addition to many other properties of light, can be modulated by photonic Bragg structures. In conjunction with nonlinearity and quantum effects, a variety of ensuing micro- or nano-photonic applications ...

3D Fully Polarimetric Attributed Scattering Center Extraction Based on Sequential 2D SAR Images
Compared with the two-dimensional (2D) attributed scattering center model (ASCM), three dimensional (3D) fully polarimetric attributed scattering center model (FP-ASCM) is able to directly offer the target location, size, and orientation in 3D space ...

ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.
