Process dissociation and mixture signal detection theory.
Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition, 2008The process dissociation procedure was developed in an attempt to separate different processes involved in memory tasks. The procedure naturally lends itself to a formulation within a class of mixture signal detection models. The dual process model is shown to be a special case.
