EEG Signal Processing: Theory and Applications

2012
The electroencephalogram (EEG) is a dynamic noninvasive and relatively inexpensive technique used to monitor the state of the brain. The International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology defines the EEG as “(1) the science relating to the electrical activity of the brain, and (2) the technique of recording electroencephalograms” [1].

LINEAR SIGNAL PROCESSING THEORY AND MEASUREMENTS

1963
Abstract : A time-varying random linear system model is hypothesized for the communication mediu. The fundamental parameters and analysis techniques for the linear system are described, and applied in a multiple alternative communication mode with Rayleigh fading. A comparison of several receiver types is then effected. Some measurement limitations and

Digital Signal Processing for Measurement Systems

2006
This book covers the theoretical as well as the practical issues which form the basis of the modern DSP-based instruments and measurement methods. It covers the basics of DSP theory before discussing the critical aspects of DSP unique to measurement science.

Process dissociation and mixture signal detection theory.

Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition, 2008
The process dissociation procedure was developed in an attempt to separate different processes involved in memory tasks. The procedure naturally lends itself to a formulation within a class of mixture signal detection models. The dual process model is shown to be a special case.

Overview of Digital Signal Processing Theory

1975
Abstract : An overview of the theory of digital signal processing is presented here using key portions of the applicable technical literature. This can serve either as an introduction for those who desire to pursue the subject further or as a concise summary for those for whom more detailed investigation would be impractical. The discussion begins with

Basic Theory of Digital Signal Processing

2012
Digital signal processing theory and technique, as a very important area in science and engineering, has developed very rapidly in the last thirty years [1]–[15]. This development has benefited from progress in both computer technology and the micro-industry.
