Fibronectin1‐Expressing Subicular Circuits Selectively Govern the Retrieval of Novel Object Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fibronectin 1 (FN1)‐expressing subicular subpopulations encode novel object preference and selectively govern retrieval of novel object recognition (NOR) via affecting excitability of entorhinal‐projecting circuit through large conductance Ca2+‐activated potassium (BK) channel. ABSTRACT Novel object recognition (NOR), referring to the cognitive ability

Signal‐to‐interference‐plus‐noise ratio‐based multi‐relay beamforming for multi‐user multiple‐input multiple‐output cognitive relay networks with interference from primary network

open access: yesIET Communications, 2015
Cognitive radio is a potential technique to solve the spectrum shortage problem in wireless communications. Integrating wireless relaying into the cognitive radio networks can further improve the spectrum efficiency. In this study, a multiple‐input multiple‐output cognitive relay network is considered, where the primary network (PN) consists of one ...

PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.

Precoded dirty-paper coding with signal-to-interference plus noise ratio-based ordering for multiuser multiple-input multiple-output communication

open access: yesIET Communications, 2010
The authors propose a joint dirty-paper coding (DPC) and beamforming scheme for use in multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. Unlike conventional maximum likelihood (ML)-based DPC schemes, this joint DPC and beamforming precoding scheme is intended as a suboptimal strategy in that it cancels only causal interference, thus offering a ...

Nanocellulose Alleviates Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy via Gut Microbiota‐Mediated Bile Acid Homeostasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanocellulose, derived from microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) through sulfuric acid hydrolysis or mechanical grinding to produce CNC or CNF, was tested in a rat ICP model. Particularly, CNF improved gut microbiota composition, reduced secondary bile acid metabolism, and restored bile acid homeostasis through modulation of the gut–liver axis.

Constructive interference exploitation for downlink beamforming based on noise robustness and outage probability [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Quality of service (QoS) is commonly measured in terms of signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR), where multiuser interference is mitigated in order to improve the performance. As opposed to conventional suppression, interference can be exploited
