Signal transduction in erythropoiesis
The FASEB Journal, 1991The polypeptide hormone erythropoietin (Ep) is a growth factor whose actions on the erythroid progenitor cell induce proliferation and differentiation. The signal transduction system activated by Ep to mediate these cellular processes remains largely uncharacterized despite many years of research devoted to its elucidation.

Cytokines and signal transduction
Best Practice & Research Clinical Haematology, 2005Many studies have characterized the role of growth factors in multiple myeloma (MM) pathogenesis and have derived novel therapies to improve patient outcome based upon targeting cytokines and their signaling cascades both in the MM cell and in the bone-marrow (BM) microenvironment.

Cytokines and signal transduction
The Clinical Investigator, 1994Cytokines are signaling molecules that coordinate cellular interactions in immune and hematopoietic systems. During the past 5 years many cytokines and their receptors have been identified and cloned. With a few exceptions, cytokine receptors do not contain any known signaling domains and therefore, in order to trigger a specific cellular response, new
