High Intramyocellular lipid (IMCL) content in older individuals, likely due to reduced fat oxidation, is associated with insulin resistance. The present study demonstrated that increasing muscle carnitine content in healthy older males resulted in a 20% increase in fat oxidation during exercise, likely due to an increase in IMCL utilization.

Abstract The partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in surface seawater is an important biogeochemical variable because, together with the pCO2 in the atmosphere, it determines the direction of air–sea carbon dioxide exchange. Large‐scale observations of pCO2 are facilitated by Ships‐of‐Opportunity (SOOP‐CO2) equipped with underway measuring ...

Medication‐related incidents at 19 hospitals: A retrospective register study using incident reports
Abstract Aim To examine (a) when medication incidents occur and which type is most frequent; (b) consequences for patients; (c) incident reporters’ perceptions of causes; and (d) professional categories reporting the incidents. Design A descriptive multicentre register study.

Abstract The seawater partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) is an essential ocean variable needed to calculate air‐sea gas exchange and to identify marine carbon sinks and sources. Recent technological developments support autonomous pCO2 measurements with sensors that are smaller and cheaper. In July 2021, these differences were highlighted during

Signals of opportunity for space navigation: An application-oriented review
Space navigation using X-Ray pulsars is known as opportunistic navigation, where we rely on signals of opportunity from natural phenomena to determine navigation solutions for spacecraft. However, this definition becomes too small or shallow, as it doesn'

Wave Glider‐Based Measurements and Corrections of Near‐Surface pCO2 Gradients in the Coastal Ocean
Abstract Carbonate system dynamics are highly variable in coastal and shelf regions, and poor spatiotemporal measurement resolution leads to inadequate constraints for global carbon sequestration estimates. Additionally, conventional pCO2 measurement‐based flux calculations require an assumption of homogeneity in near‐surface waters, excluding effects ...
