본 연구의 목적은 Seligman(2011)이 제안한 안녕감 이론과 성격강점과의 관계를 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 대표강점의 활용에 기반한 안녕감 증진 프로그램을 개발한 후 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구 1에서는 Seligman(2011)이 제안한 안녕감의 5개 하위요인인 긍정정서, 몰입, 긍정관계, 의미, 성취, 즉 PERMA 모형과 성격강점과의 관계를 다각도로 확인하였다. 특히 삶의 만족도와 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 중요한 성격강점이 무엇인지 파악하였고
