Closing the Loop: High‐Precision 3D Photofabrication in Living Tissues
Writing 3D microstructures inside living tissue demands more than laser access; It demands information. Hierarchical sensing captures thermal and mechanical states across pulse‐train, voxel, and structure timescales, feeding a controller that steers the laser in real time.

Utterance evolution: the road to generative, combinatorial communicators
ABSTRACT Language has long been considered uniquely complex in the animal kingdom; however, animal research over the last decade has begun to challenge some long‐standing premises about exactly which language capacities are uniquely human. The task of resolving why and how complex communication systems evolve, particularly human language, has ...

Preparation and Characterization of Gradient‐Index Copper‐Oxide Films
Sequential deposition of 35 nm thick Cu layers on glass and oxidation at temperatures decreasing from 650 to 450 K enables the preparation of a gradient‐index oxide film, the stoichiometry of which monotonously changes from Cu2O to CuO with distance from the surface.

Abstract As the goals of the Paris Agreement struggle to be met, interest in stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI) has increased due to its potential to reduce the impacts of anthropogenic warming. SAI would aim to cool the Earth by injecting sulfate aerosols or their precursors into the stratosphere, reflecting incoming sunlight back to space ...
