Hydraulic In Vitro Characterization of MR‐Conditional Blood Pumps
Cardiac surgery in neonates requires close placement of cardiopulmonary bypass machines due to limited blood volume, complicating MR compatibility. This study introduces three MR‐conditional blood pump prototypes. None interfered with MRI imaging, though RF‐related sensor effects remain untested.

Electron impact excitation of SiI [PDF]
An analytic atomic independent-particle-model is used to generate wave functions for the valence and ex- cited states of the neutral silicon atom. These wave func- tions are used to calculate generalized oscillator strengths, and from these quantities the cross sections are obtained in the Born approximation.
