Transaction Structures in the Developing World [PDF]
While variations in public securities markets across nations have attracted increasing scrutiny, private financings have received little attention. But in developing nations, the bulk of financings are private ones. This paper analyzes 210 private equity

A versatile photoinduced hydro(boryl)silylation and hydro(chloro)silylation of alkenes to construct trisubstituted silylboranes and chlorosilanes was achieved through in situ generation of (boryl)silyl radicals or (chloro)silyl radicals. This mild methodology affords high chemoselectivity and broad functional group tolerance to enable direct access to ...

Institutions and Total Factor Productivity Convergence [PDF]
The paper examines the effect that institutions have on Total Factor Productivity (TFP) growth. This is done by creating a TFP gap between the leader and each of the following countries. The global leaders used are the USA and an average of OECD members.

Addressing Bottlenecks to Achieve High‐Energy Sodium‐Ion Cells Using Tin Anodes
The challenges in coupling high voltage cathode with Sn‐alloying anode or in anode‐free cell, using glyme based electrolytes to realize high energy Na‐ion cells are reported. Surface protection strategy such as SnO coating on Sn or trapping the parasitic species from poisoning the anode, helps improving the cyclability, with ∼100% capacity retention ...

A NiH‐catalyzed α‐alkenylation via Markovnikov hydronickellation of alkynes enables convenient access to α‐chrial β‐methylene carbonyl frameworks that are prevalent in biorelevant molecules. High regio‐ and enantioselectivities have been achieved with excellent functional group tolerance and applicability toward complex structures. The β‐methylene unit

Haptic In‐Sensor Computing Device Based on CNT/PDMS Nanocomposite Physical Reservoir
Using a porous carbon nanotube‐polydimethylsiloxane nanocomposite, a sensor array integrated with a physical reservoir computing paradigm capable of in‐sensor computing is demonstrated. The device is able to classify between nine objects with an accuracy above 80%, opening the possibility for low‐power sensing/computing for future robotics.
