Cosmogenic 26Al/10Be ratios are used to quantify the spatial–temporal processes of landscape change in the Pilbara since the Plio‐Pleistocene. We compare long‐term catchment denudation rates from bedrock and river sediments and explore the potential mechanisms underlying their complex exposure history through a source‐to‐sink approach.

Abstract We report stable silicon isotope ratio (δ30Si) of over 80 groundwater samples collected along the Indian coast, spanning a wide range of aquifer lithologies (alluvial, basalt, metamorphic, laterite and limestone), climate (semi‐arid to tropical wet) and land use settings.

Multi‐Century Grindstone Quarrying at Brumby Yard, Queensland
ABSTRACT The timing and duration of prehistoric quarrying is poorly understood within Australia, with limited ages available for quarries owing to the difficulties in dating these rock‐sediment constructions. We report the first multi‐sample, optically stimulated luminescence ages from quarry pits in Brumby Yard, an Aboriginal grindstone quarry ...

ABSTRACT The St Bathans paleovalley developed as a major southwest‐draining fluvial system during early Miocene rejuvenation of the Central Otago landscape. Rounded quartz pebbles and detrital gold were recycled from Eocene quartz pebble conglomerates into the headwaters of this Miocene paleodrainage system on the northern margin of the Otago Schist ...

Origin and evolution of silcretes
Summary: Silcretes are rocks with high content of SiO2 (usually more than 90 wt. %) formed by mobilization of SiO2 during weathering processes. Silcretes formed near the Earth's surface by soil weathering in warm and humid climate are termed as pedogenic

ABSTRACT Archaeological field research in South African archaeology has been dominated by rock shelters. While rock shelters provide the advantage of a defined area of investigation and more limited processes of erosion and sediment accumulation, they only capture part of the archaeological, environmental and landscape records.

The Greater Bilby (Macrotis lagotis) in Queensland, Australia: Distribution, Trends, and Threats
ABSTRACT Medium‐sized Australian mammals have suffered major declines since colonisation, with many now extinct or surviving only in intensively managed, predator‐free fenced reserves or on islands. The greater bilby (Macrotis lagotis) in Queensland is an anomaly, persisting primarily in grazed rangelands with no targeted conservation management across
