Dans cette contribution, nous cherchons à rendre compte de la fréquence et de la durée des pauses silencieuses en fonction de leur localisation dans la chaîne parlée, de leur combinaison avec d’autres disfluences et de la situation de parole dans ...

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

Multiscale experiments and modeling reveal how Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets reinforce PVDF nanocomposites. An optimal MXene loading (∼1 wt.%) nearly doubles tensile strength through efficient stress transfer, flake alignment, and crack‐deflection mechanisms, transforming ductile polymer behavior into a controlled multi‐stage fracture pathway which aligns ...

A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

This paper presents a digital microfluidics‐based technique for transferring and reconfiguring soft nanomembranes. Laser‐machined nanothin membranes are picked up, transported, and aligned via tailored surface tension and the actuation of water droplets, enabling the development of flexible electronics, the integration of functional materials on 3D ...

Tuning Separator Chemistry: Improving Zn Anode Compatibility via Functionalized Chitin Nanofibers
Nanochitin derived from waste shrimp shells is used to fabricate separators for aqueous zinc batteries. By tuning the density of amine and carboxylic surface groups, water mobility at the separator interface is controlled, promoting uniform zinc deposition, suppressing dendrite growth, and enabling exceptional cycling stability exceeding 2000 h ...

Word class and silent pauses in spoken narratives of children with specific language impairment.
To determine whether word class has any influence on the mean duration of silent pauses in the spoken narratives of children with specific language impairment (SLI) and in those with typical language development (TLD).The study sample consisted of 60 children in the age range from 7 to 10 years: 20 with SLI; and 40 with TLD.

Filled pauses as cues to the complexity of following phrases
Corpus based studies of spontaneous speech showed that filled pauses tended to precede relatively long and complex constituents. We examined whether listeners made use of such a tendency in speech processing.

Ultrasensitive Anti‐Stokes Luminescence Thermometry in Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Monolayers
We demonstrate a highly sensitive nanothermometer using anti‐Stokes photoluminescence, also known as photoluminescence upconversion (UPL), in monolayer tungsten disulfide. A strong resonantly enhanced UPL is observed, confirming the central role of optical phonons in the PL upconversion mechanism.
