Silicon oxide (SiO) has great potential as a high‐capacity anode for lithium‐ion batteries, but its practical use is limited by excessive volume expansion (>200%) and rapid capacity fade, especially at high temperatures.

Journal of Biochemical and Molecular Toxicology, Volume 40, Issue 9, September 2026.Cisplatin induces oxidative stress and hepatotoxicity, as evidenced by increased serum biomarkers and oxidative damage parameters. Luteolin, derived from Pistacia terebinthus, mitigates these effects by enhancing antioxidant defense systems and improving cell viability in cancer cell lines.

Chemical Biology &Drug Design, Volume 108, Issue 3, September 2026.The synthesized compounds exhibited excellent cytotoxicity on MCF‐7, breast cancer cell line with selective profile especially 2d with IC50 value of 0.12 μM. Three compounds 2c, 2d, and 2h caused almost as much apoptosis induction as cisplatin. Compound 2d exhibited caspase‐3 activation at standard drug level.
