Micro-Hole Drilling on Silicon Nitride Ceramics in Ethanol
Micro-hole drilling of engineering ceramics has potential for application to fuel injection nozzles and fiber spinning nozzles, etc. To date among engineering ceramics, less study has been reported on the micro-hole drilling of silicon nitride.

Photothermal‐Activated Antibacterial Amyloid‐Polyphenol‐Iron Hydrogels for Synergistic Wound Healing
We report a thermally triggered supramolecular hydrogel (LTFe) formed by Fe3+ and tannic acid on lysozyme amyloid fibrils. Fe3+ enables rapid gelation and photothermal transduction with an efficiency of 88.56%. The LTFe hydrogel exhibits excellent biocompatibility, potent antibacterial activity against E. coli and S.

Oberflächenmodifizierung von dichtem Siliziumnitrid durch Ionenstrahltechniken
S.319-323The use of dense Silicon Nitride under wear and at high temperatures is restricted by various damaging processes, like creep, oxidation and subcritical crack growth. Most of these processes are determined by surface effects.

Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Silicon Microdisk Resonators for Nonlinear Optics and Dynamics [PDF]
Silicon is incredibly well-studied as an electronic material. Since the out-migration of William Noyce, Gordon Moore, and the rest of the original Fairchild Semiconductor class from Shockley Semiconductor, silicon has only grown in prominence.
