HCl‐Free Mechanochemical Synthesis of Lithium Niobium Oxychlorides
A novel mechanochemical route utilizing lithium niobate precursors and chlorides eliminates corrosive HCl byproduct, enabling the direct synthesis of LiNbOCl4 with a high ionic conductivity of 11.8 mS cm−1. Halide‐based oxychloride electrolytes, including LiNbOCl4, are promising candidates for all‐solid‐state batteries (ASSBs) due to their high ionic ...

Aluminum and nitride coatings are used in industry because they are hard, resist wear, and protect against oxidation. Adding boron can improve friction behavior and other properties. This study tests coatings on surfaces with different finishes. Results show smoother surfaces perform better, while rough ones wear faster, although coatings can reduce ...

The application feedback on existing silicon nitride ceramic bearings and RCF experimental research all indicate that the primary failure mode of silicon nitride ceramic bearings is material spalling on the contact surface. Spalling failure occurs due to the initiation and propagation of cracks under rolling contact.
