Large‐Scale Bioprinting of Human Epiblast‐Like Models Featuring Disc‐Shaped Morphogenesis and Gastrulation Events

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Large‐scale generation of disc‐shaped models mimicking human epiblast layer is achieved by bioprinting of human pluripotent stem cells using a well‐defined biomatrix. The bioactive component and physical confinement from laminin/alginate microgels, combined with the endogenous regulation of the WNT signaling pathway regulated disc‐like morphogenesis ...

Skeleton Enhanced Dispersed Lubricant Particle Based Triboelectric Nanogenerator for Droplet Energy Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A stretchable, slippery triboelectric nanogenerator (SS‐TENG) is presented for efficient droplet energy harvesting. A novel phase separation method is created to prepare a durable, flexible triboelectric layer with skeleton‐embedded, dispersed lubricant particles.

Drop Behavior in Uniform DC Electric Field

open access: yes, 2009
Drop deformation in uniform electric fields is a classic problem. The pioneering work of G.I.Taylor demonstrated that for weakly conducting media, the drop fluid undergoes a toroidal flow and the drop adopts a prolate or oblate spheroidal shape, the flow

Ultra‐Low Hysteresis Under Large Deformation Enabled by Fast Chains Relaxation in Highly Competitive Dynamic Hydrogen Bond Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that incorporating deep eutectic solvent (DES) components tunes the relaxation dynamics of strong hydrogen bonds between polymer segments, rendering them mechanically “invisible” during service conditions (low hysteresis: <3%).
