Diffusion of Silver in Silver-Zinc and Silver-Cadmium Alloys

Journal of the Physical Society of Japan, 1955
Diffusivity of Ag 110 in AgZn and AgCd alloys containing about 30% Zn or Cd was measured by means of surface counting. The results show that the silver atoms diffuse most rapidly in the lattice of AgZn and that the diffusivity of silver in AgCd is still higher than that in silver itself.

Toxicity of silver nanoparticles—Nanoparticle or silver ion?

Toxicology Letters, 2012
The toxicity of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) has been shown in many publications. Here we investigated to which degree the silver ion fraction of AgNP suspensions, contribute to the toxicity of AgNPs in A549 lung cells. Cell viability assays revealed that AgNP suspensions were more toxic when the initial silver ion fraction was higher.

SILVER‐SILVER CHLORIDE ELECTRODERMAL ELECTRODES

Psychophysiology, 1968
ABSTRACTAn electrolytic method is presented for the preparation of a disc type Ag‐AgCl electrode which has low bias potential and drift, moderate resistance and low polarization, is relatively durable, and can be easily replated if damaged or contaminated.
