The purpose of this interpretive phenomenological study was to gain a better understanding of the experiences of 11 mothers of preschool children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Mothers were interviewed three times over a 6 week period. Interviews were analyzed using interpretive methods.

Part of this work can be used to show that the additivity of the Silver forcing ideal has size at least the unbounding number b.
