Quantum chemical study of NO reduction mechanism on Ag /Al2O3 catalysts

open access: yesЖурнал Белорусского государственного университета: Химия, 2021
It was shown that N2O content among NO reduction products increases with an increase of the silver concentration in the catalyst because the nature of the catalytic centers changes and leads to a subsequent change in the mechanism of the reaction.

Theoretical Studies of Silver Clusters

open access: yes, 2022
Silver clusters consisting of 2-20 atoms were investigated using spin polarized density functional theory (DFT) calculations with PW91 functional and a plane wave basis set. Linear clusters were found to undergo Peierls bond distortion.

Five-Dimensional Optical Data Storage Based on Ellipse Orientation and Fluorescence Intensity in a Silver-Sensitized Commercial Glass

open access: yesMicromachines, 2020
Five-dimensional (5D) recording and decoding is demonstrated by using femtosecond direct laser writing in a silver-containing commercial glass. In particular, laser intensities and ellipse orientations generated by anamorphic focusing are employed to ...

Structural and optical properties of the Agn–tyrosine complexes (n = 3−12): a density functional theory study

open access: yesRoyal Society Open Science, 2023
We study the optical properties of Agn (n = 3–12) neutral clusters and their coordination with a tyrosine (Tyr) molecule. A global search strategy coupled with density functional theory (DFT) computations explored the potential energy surface. Adsorption
